FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything about tracking posts, scoring leads and credits.

Do I have to connect my LinkedIn account?

No. Parasite reads the public reactions and comments on the posts you track. It never asks for your password or a LinkedIn session, so nothing runs on your account and there is nothing for LinkedIn to flag.

Whose posts can I track?

Your own and your competitors’. Add a competitor’s profile or company page and Parasite collects everyone who reacts to or comments on their posts, so you can reach their audience too. The free plan covers 3 competitors.

How does Parasite decide who is a buyer?

You describe your ideal customer once. Every person is checked against your hard rules first (recruiters, students, your own team), then scored 0–100 from their role, company and what they wrote in the comment. Your best matches get a deeper look at their full profile, company page and website.

How fast do I see results?

Your first scan pulls up to 10 of your posts and 3 competitor posts and scores up to 50 people, usually within a few minutes. After that, Parasite keeps checking tracked posts for new reactions and comments on its own.

What is a credit?

Credits pay for the work: 1 for each new person found, 1 for a deep research, 2 for each email found. The free plan includes 100 credits a month and paid plans 1,000 to 7,500. They refresh every month.

Can I get emails and phone numbers?

Yes, on paid plans. Starter includes email lookup, and Growth and Scale add phone numbers. Export your list as a CSV or push it straight into lemlist.
